Part of VI.BE’s ongoing “DJ VISION” series, where a local, upcoming DJ is interviewed about their careers thus far, their vision on DJ’ing and their hopes and dreams for the future. Mia is a young DJ who has experienced a meteoric rise in the last two years, supported by a much larger artist in Pegassi. I interviewed her before her set for Sweet Nothing during Full Circle Antwerp at Antwerp Expo, and we chatted about that rise, how her brother influenced her taste in music and how sometimes she needs to remind herself to take in the moment.
